Where does manuka come from?

Manuka, the special plant that makes our herbal tea so unique, comes from breathtaking New Zealand. This archipelago in the Pacific Ocean is known for its untouched nature, where the manuka bush has been growing for centuries.

The Maori, the original inhabitants of New Zealand, have known the power of the manuka plant for generations. In their traditional culture, where man and nature are inextricably linked, manuka plays an important role.

The landscape where manuka grows is truly spectacular: misty mountain slopes, crystal clear lakes and lush rainforests. The plant thrives in this pristine environment, where the air is still truly clean and nature sets the rhythm. New Zealanders live in harmony with their environment and harvest manuka with respect for the ecosystem.

The beautiful white blossoms of the manuka bushes in spring transform the landscape into a magnificent vista that is characteristic of the New Zealand bush. Our manuka tea originates from this pristine environment, far away from pollution and industry. Every cup of manuka tea tells the story of New Zealand's pure nature and the special bond between people and the environment that makes this country so unique.

How to make Manuka Ti

Making the perfect cup of Manuka Ti is no art, anyone can do it. With this simple preparation method you get the best out of our New Zealand Manuka Ti and enjoy the subtle taste to the fullest.

Heat water to just below boiling point. This temperature is ideal for releasing the delicate flavours of the manuka leaves without burning them. Then let the tea bag steep for at least 5 minutes. Don't be surprised by the light colour, this is characteristic of Manuka Ti, and does not mean that the Ti is not ready yet.

A special feature of our Manuka Ti is that you can use each tea bag at least twice. The second steeping gives a milder, but still tasty Ti. Therefore, save the used bag for a second cup
later in the day. Of course it is also possible to make a pot of tea.

Want to make your Manuka Ti even more special? Add a teaspoon of manuka honey. The natural sweetness of the honey perfectly complements the subtle spicy notes of the Manuka Ti. This combination completes your Ti experience and offers an authentic New Zealand
taste sensation.

Enjoy your Manuka Ti and discover why this special drink is so popular.
